You became family in my heart, a poem for Pamela Condon by Tracy Diane Miller

Once you were a stranger’s face
Now you are my joy
My heart so gratefully embrace

Once I feared life twists and turns
Then Fate brought you into my heart
A happiness I have learned

Once I retreated into my past
A victim of my circumstances
Optimism didn’t last

Once there were two
Me and my twin
But you became family in my heart
I know that I win
