Through a 1000 miles of memories, a poem for @MandyRowden by Tracy Diane Miller

I remember
The girl that I used to be
With 1000 miles of memories
Her eyes will see

I remember
A child of innocence
Unaware of regret
Her heart fed by hope
She won’t forget

Through a 1000 miles of memories
A worthy quest
Despite a storm of emotions
The sun gives her best

Fate is the architect
Of a life so charmed
Even in sorrow
I will do no harm

I walk
Through a 1000 miles of memories
Through those twists and turns
Within the closet of my mind
Desperate for that one special moment
I long to find
Hidden within
1000 miles of memories
