Let hope shadow you, a poem for @terrigarber1228 by Tracy Diane Miller

Sometimes the greatest courage
Is seeing through the pain
When your body feels weak
Yet your soul has much to gain

To close your eyes
With thoughts awash in prayer
Can you see the shadow
For hope is standing there

Why is hope so silent
Why won’t hope speak
But hope has a purpose
To guide you on the road you seek

As your body recovers from pain
As you deny the tears that fall
Let hope shadow you
For you are never alone after all
