A portrait of life, a poem for Jared Padalecki by Tracy Diane Miller

Each person
A subject in a portrait called life
The day begins as a blank canvas
Where anxiety and depression
Those colors so gray
The hues of sorrow
That paint the day
Fate uses a critical eye
But a steady hand
I have come to understand
Fears then tears
Those textures of doubt
Those silent screams
That long to come out
You became an artist
Creating a portrait of life
The colorful hues of compassion
The people who are no longer forgotten or locked away in pain
As compassion offered
So much to gain
Courage a willing participant
In this portrait of life
Now a canvas reflected by the most glorious lighting
A portrait of life
Created by those people who vow
To Always Keep Fighting
