Another new poem that I wrote for Rachel Miner :

To hear the sun, a poem for Rachel Miner by Tracy Diane Miller

I see the sun
I feel its rays
The generosity of warmth
On the darkness of days
But I find that I often wonder
Can I hear the sun
The moment it awakes
And the day has begun
To hear the sun
Through the songs of birds
Their hearts are hopeful
Their chirps are words
To hear the sun
Through the movement of trees
To hear the sun
Through the buzzing of bees
To hear the sun
Through a lonely day
The glory of light
Sends darkness away
To hear the sun
Through a child’s laugh is enough
Sweet and innocence
The joy when life is rough
To hear the sun all around
In nature
In people
The peace that I have found
