#poetry #amwriting #InmemoryoftheNevilleLakeFamily  Please remember them, a poem by Tracy Diane Miller

How often have many cried
And drown in unspeakable pain
On the realization of the innocent lives lost
At the hands of selfishness so gained
Why must it be a mystery
It is simple I would say
Don’t drink and drive
The saddest truth
Is of the innocent lives taken that way
The Neville-Lake family
Beautiful children with their smiles of hope to convey
And their loving grandfather
Lost on a tragic September day
Please remember them
Please dress your heart in their memories
And when you gaze at Heaven
These angels remain yours to see
