Here is a new poem that I just wrote for Terri Garber-Roudebush:

#poetry #amwriting You are not a silhouette of a forgotten past, a poem for Terri Garber-Roudebush by Tracy Diane Miller

Do not mourn the passage of time
Nor the woman you used to be
For you are not the silhouette of a forgotten past
But a splendor for all to see

Do not approach time with regret
Nor feel forlorn
For you are not the silhouette of a forgotten past
You give so much of yourself as each new day is born

Do not underestimate the joy that you give
Nor the hope that is revealed
For you are not the silhouette of a forgotten past
The honesty of your heart is not concealed
